Got the idea for this topic from another thread asking for movie recommendations for Jennifer Connelly. Time eventually catches up with all of us, even in Hollywood. Here are some movies with some actresses when they looked so good I would have hardly cared how bad their actual performances were.

Anyone else out there have some movies where the actress was so hot, but after that it went downhill? Any still going strong past their mid 30s?

For me:

Jennifer Connelly, born 1970 -Dark City (1998)

Jessica Alba, born 1981 -Sin City (2005)

Katie Holmes, born 1978 -Wonder Boys (2000)

Marisa Tomei, born 1964 -My Cousin Vinny (1992) -Haven't seen much of her stuff since so she may have still had it for a while thereafter.

LOL. When I saw the title, I thought to myself "what a strange word to use in 2012". Yes, my brain is still not accustomed to 2013 and still thinks it's 2012.

Haha, yea starlets was used more in the past, just tried to change it to 'Actresses', but it only changed it for my post, not the topic. I guess you can't change the thread title.

Jodie Foster: still is hot but im upset she hasnt really starred in a film since The Brave One (2007)

Emmanuel Beart: she was hot until she sliced up her face in the early 2000s

Totally agree that Jennifer Connelly's last super-hot look in a movie was Dark City, right before she had her boobs reduced and lost a ton of weight.

Cameron Diaz was hottest in her first movie The Mask... then it went downhill from there.

Jennifer Love Hewitt probably looked the best in Heartbreakers. She still looks good, but she's starting to age fast.

Its an appropriate use of the word after all you are discussing actress of the past even if they are still with us, your not referring to their current age or pics etc.

I thought Lori Petty was hot in Point Break, today not so much.

Kelly McGillis was hot in Top Gun. She doesn't look so good nowadays. Sean Young from Blade Runner was my first cinematic crush. She looked absolutely gorgeous in that film. I don't know what happened to her, lol.

She's gorgeous in MCV. I didn't realise it was her in the Wrestler.
