"The Hellmouth" my Buffy the Vampire Slayer room

Something that has always meant a lot to be is Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A few months ago I began the process of finally putting together a room to display all my Buffy collectibles and a place where I can escape to the Buffyverse. It's still a work in progress, and the shots of loose memorablia is stuff I haven't displayed yet. Will update often.

All autographs were obtained in person by me, I didn't ebay any. I also went to the Buffy Reunion in 2008 where I met Sarah Michelle Gellar and most of the cast.

Buffy is my all time favorite show too. Looks great!

Love it- I'm not a mint-on-card figure kind of guy, but I've collected a lot of the Buffy/Angel lines (over the years I owned them all at various points, like Triangle Tara, Bloodbank Spike, etc), mostly keeping my favorite of each figure, plus some doubles for specific sets (OMWF, Chosen, so forth).
Anyway, my collection doesn't command the real estate yours does and it's nice to see your space all setup like that.

I've always loved that Angel S5 poster (Touch of Sunnydale).

Thanks to everyone that has posted. I had a room just sitting there, so I started doing this around November. I was so impatient to get everything out of storage that I just started throwing stuff on the wall and on display over a few long nights. I planned on rearranging things as I went along. I haven't been in there much due to the holidays, but I should be putting up the Slayer's Scythe and Faith's jackal knife this week and reorganizing stuff. I am always acquiring Buffy merch so there will be updates.

When I was younger I was into Spuffy. But on re-watches as an adult I like Buffy/Angel more. Buffy/Spike was just an unhealthy relationship and during a very dark time in her life. Buffy and Angel is true love to me, even though they had some cringe-worthy moments on the show.

Yeah, I wasn't into keeping everything in packaging at first, which is why I don't have the boxes for some of the sideshows on display. I have a few packaged sideshow's that aren't on display with the rest, so I will probably take Giles, the Master, & Buffy (Hush) out soon. I have some of the regular figures loose, and I am looking to get more to display (I would love to have complete MOC and loose). I also have the rarer Illyria figure, but don't know where to put it.

I am trying to get some more of the figures from the Moore Collectibles line to even out the two sides. I know there's alternate Spike & Angel and more Buffy's. You know of any else?

For the Diamond toys line I need : Tara (hush), Anya (OMWF), Willow (transformation), Giles (demon), Xander (military), and any other Spikes/Angels.

Absolutely fantastic setup. I loved Buffy and Angel. You have done a phenomenal job setting all that up. Kudos to you. That's what collecting is all about, displaying it not hiding it away. I love what you did to that room.

And you have Ikea Detolf cabinets. They are the best IMHO...

Needs more Angel.

I have:

-All the individual seasons (first release) from both shows
-All TPB from Season 8 (not a fan but had to finish the season)
-Most of the HC from Angel After the Fall (stopped reading after they got back from Hell)
-Various other TPB
-A few novels (including all but the 3rd Tales of the Slayer - Nikki's tale in the 4th is my favorite)
-The first soundtrack on CD
-Angel's soundtrack
-Buffy's music score (with download only bonus songs)
-Once More With Feeling CD (and I hate all other musicals - )
-The board game (wife and I played it many times that first year but not since)
-All official Watcher's Guides and Casefiles (I can't believe they never included Angel Season 5)
-Chaos Bleeds video game for PS2
-The mini Slayer Scythe

If I ever get my media room, I want the full size Scythe. I'm kicking myself for not getting it when it was new and still $250. Also wished I had started collecting the action figures (though, I'm not the type to leave them in the blister packs).

I think the biggest reason I like this a lot is that you don't focus on just one aspect, but have such a diverse collection of different products....which isn't true for most people.

I got those first three from an Amazon seller months ago in the $7-10 range, I don't know if they're still available for those prices, but Amazon was surprisingly helpful to me. Since they're rarer these days, I only really wanted one of each character.
I pretty much have the ones I want, although I've been trying to find 'Chosen' Faith for a while. I might go for the earlier, first version of the character, which looks a bit better from the photos I've seen.

Here she is, with some Buffy lollipops. It is the most beat up carded figure I have, so I'll be getting another one and this will be loose. I will get the other Illyria soon. I only have a few figures from the Angel line, but will be expanding on that at the next toy show/convention.

I agree with Illyria, great character, too bad we didn't see much of her. I got Amy Acker to sign both a Fred 8x10 and Illyria 8x10.

Here's a corner where I put my old TV, just so I can play the Buffy Chaos Bleeds game for PS2 and the original Buffy game for Xbox. Both systems are ready to go. Put a Chaos Bleeds 11x17 poster next to the TV.

I met her three times all in 2012. She did a convention signing appearance in March. Then she was here for the World Premiere of Much Ado About Nothing (Whedon's new film) at the Toronto film festival. I attended and talked to her at both screenings. She is very sweet and approachable.



I also have her on the Angel poster, the script for the last episode, and a Cabin in the Woods poster.
