How do you know that Aditya has the rights for Naayak ?
I don't see the announcement anywhere. Please confirm.

Even njm didnt say that its a Aditya release.
I know Aditya has rights for music but that doesn't necessarily mean that they have home video rights also.

You'll see a release date of 2 May 2013 when you click on the Blu Ray. Dunno why they put it up as 'New on Blu Ray'. It should be at Pre-order.

There is never a postponement. The date hasn't been officially announced by the company (Sri Balaji).

So all the dates you see on net are "expected release dates"
Until Sri Balaji states the date clearly you cant trust any date.

I wonder why Sri Balaji is not updating any info regarding this movie on their website

P.S: With that said, aren't we used to this by now. All Indian home video releases (including Hindi) don't really have a certain date of release until the last week of release in most cases.

But it is good to see that a Telugu blockbuster film is indeed coming to bluray, 3-4 months within releases. I just wish the same for Hindi, Malayalam, & Tamil companies.

Now Malayalam movies following this format. Malayalam Bluray/dvd/vcd comes within 3-4 month after theatrical release.(BD &DVD Release in SAME DAY)

Sri Balaji released both DVD and Blu-ray on the same day as per the info on their website

Really appreciate it when such professionalism is maintained in releasing all formats at the same time. It makes sense so you can pick what you want
