You would have been better off just letting people forget.
This is the worst attempt at a cover story since George W.

Holy shit, why would someone actually pay so much for that film? Yuck.

If only that money actually went to something worth it.
It has become the HD-dvd version of Blades of Glory.

Blu for Blue,

That's crap and you know it. No one is going to believe it. If they pretend to believe it they just want to see what you come up with next.

I can't imagine why you feel the need to make up stuff like that... you ought to try to figure that out for yourself.

I bet the seller doesn't have it.

If he really has it, he should include a real picture, not a stock photo.

He addresses that by saying, "if you don't believe then don't bit." Quite simple, eh? I think he does have it. I wonder how he stole it though.

Futureshop in Canada has it listed in stock "Bee Movie HD-DVD" with upc code 032429035004

I called the store downtown Montreal and they said they don't have it in stock...only in DVD.

Heh - I pulled a similar prank when I used to work receiving at The Wherehouse way back when Clean & Sober with Michael Keaton released on vhs (yes, VHS). This was about a month before Batman released. I made a bogus cutout of his batman "hood", made photo copies, and cut out the eyes & mouth and taped them over his face on the Clean & Sober rental copies (under the plastic sleeve of the vhs cases). It actually looked pretty good, except for the "Clean & Sober" title which should have instantly been a dead give-away. I wheeled them out before opening hours and asked one of the associates to stock the shelves. He and the other associates went ape-$chidt over it. Of course they got me back later with other pranks.

thats funny but thats different from what he said. he said the manager opened up the hd dvd, had to have opened a blu ray and swapped them just to prank, but that its bunk because walmart is so anal over loss prevention that there is no way a manager would do this for a joke

Fair enough, but I wasn't trying to say it was the same prank nor did I intend to make a comparison . This thread just reminded me of what I did way back when and without it, it probably never would have come to mind.

well there were bee movie hd dvds shipped, just as there were blu ray blades of glory shipped....both pulled off the shelves before they could be sold. i feel like some idiot hd dvd owners who refuse to buy into blu will just get this, even tho one day they will go blu and regret their decision to pay so much for it.

i can see a manager doing this, but not at a walmart. maybe at a smaller dvd shop
