Is the Bond set used?

These are some pretty good prices, but how do you recerify a blu ray?, i think maybe these are just returned products or maybe trade ins or pawned stuff...maybe?... I just don't get how you would recertify a blu ray...anybody have any ideas on this?

The site tells you, 'A recertified product is one that is returned by a customer, for whatever reason'.

In case anyone was curious, the Bond set was new. I ordered mine last Thursday, received it on Wednesday, and it was in perfect condition. Brand new and sealed.
