Anyone else a fan of the 1994 adaptation of "Little Women" with Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst, Claire Danes, etc?
I'd also like to see the 1949 MGM version with June Allyson, Elizabeth Taylor, Janet Leigh, and Margaret O'Brien. |

I've been anticipating a release date for this as well. I know it's appeared in HD on some cable channels, but I've always missed it. I have not seen 1949, but I'm interested since it has Taylor and Leigh. Is it better than the 1933 version?
As a Winona Ryder fan, I'm still waiting on Girl Interrupted and Reality Bites as well. |

Try to check it out on TCM if you can! I'd love to see the 1949 version released on Blu-ray, but I doubt it'll happen. It might be great if they issued a 2-disc double feature with the 1933 version. Last edited by abudgell; 01-21-2013 at 07:14 PM. |
