well don't thank me, thank Bill Hunt at thedigitalbits. I just relayed the his sound bite!

but from the looks of the 30th Annv. Edition, the only 'new' reason to double-dip is to have the A&E 2hr Inside Story Doc. Unless of course we get a remastered print & audio mix.

I'm in for Vegas Vacation. I actually liked it more than European Vacation.

Great news! I might dip for that new feature. I saw it on A&E a while back, and thought it was pretty good. I believe they did one for Animal House & Caddyshack.

Now I will definitely dip is this comes with the original poster art on a slipcover!

I'll get Vegas, and I might double dip Vacation for the documentary when the price is right.

I'll wait for the inevitable Triple feature with European Vacation. You know it'll happen!*

*European vacation is already in a triple feature so maybe not, but they could include Christmas vacation in its place. I'd also settle for just a box set with all of them included

I think this is the same extras and commentary that was released on the old 20th Anniversary Dvd release The A&E special seems to be the only new bonus feature. I hope they use the cooler original poster art and not the photoshopped mess that was the first BLU release.

Also Vacation had a few song edits over the years on home video I can't recall which ones they were and which were just mis info. Hopefully a hardcore fan will chime in on that subject.

This is perfect for me, because European Vacation and Christmas Vacation are the only two I bought.

Yes indeed!

Arnie:
"I am your dam Guide Arnie. Now I'm about to take you through a fully functioning power plant. So please, no one wander off the dam tour. And please take all the dam pictures you want. Now are there any dam questions?"

Eddie:
"Yeah. Where can I get some dam bait?"

They need a box set of all four movies with remastered versions for the first three.

Outstanding! I'm glad that I've held off on buying Vacation. I love all four of the movies, but the first one is the one that I really want to own.
