how good would platoon and saturday night feveer look on blu ray.. When is their expected release dates? ALSO..WHAT about jaws...how great would that movie look?

I'd love to have Saturday Night Fever on blu-ray. It was close to being released when Paramount switched sides, canceling its blu-ray release.

Hmm, just finished checking and don't see a review of it on HD DVD so maybe it wasn't the switch by Paramount to HD DVD exclusive that caused its release to be canceled. Anyway, I'd love to have it on blu-ray. Jaws as well.

Yes, for Patton, which of course is a completely different movie than Platoon.

Yeah, umm...sorry all. In my defense, they look VERRRY similar and they're both about war.

The cover-art has been at Amazon (France) for some time but no statement as when it's going to be released.

I have been waiting for Platoon for some time. Wasn't it announced a year ago and then it disappeared. The Green Berets would look good on bd as well.

BTW, Patton is my dog's favorite movie. I am not kidding. He'll sit and watch it from start to finish with only a couple short potty breaks. The ENTIRE thing.

Platoon...he could give a rat's ass about.
