I've said it before, I'll say it again, free is free. If someone wants to give away their codes they are totally free to go about it anyway they want just as anyone is just as free to not participate in a given contest/giveaway. There really shouldn't be any complaining about someone giving anything away for free. If you don't like the terms don't take part. Just saying.......

I hate to say it, but I agree, though I wouldn't have worded it so harshly.

The contests were whatever. They were fine, but then just changed to ridiculous and dragging on forever. It wasn't even a game with clues so vague and no frame of reference. Frustrating, but whatever... I can ignore that contest and wait for the next one.

...but then the whole "I'm gonna take my bat and ball and go home!" thing? THAT was the tipping point. We DID appreciate the codes, it's the attitude that's gonna keep people from caring if he leaves.

Yeah, the contests were whatever? Except the ones that you won. You're the same member that said the "cheap trick" question was too vague and then you say you live in rockford, il? This "cinemaphile" member accepted a free code from me just 2 nights ago. No contest, no trivia, just a free code. I've never asked anyone on this site for a free code. I give them away. Check my feedback. This "cinemaphile" member is ripping me for giving away free codes? Accept a free code from me and then rip me? Then, when other members use profanity to rip me, you post a comment to support them?

I also clearly said I wasnt "ripping you" for giving away codes - I was ripping the whole "im gonna take my codes and leave since i dont feel sufficiently appreciated!" thing. Also, I said that while I agreed with the other members basic idea I would NOT have worded it that way or been so harsh.
It's this behavior that's turning people off, not the clues or contests.
