Default sub 1k 5 channel amp?

So right now I've been considering emotiva's XPA-5 mostly just because I hear so many great things about them but I don't want to rule out some of the other great brands out there (Parasound, Rotel, Outlaw come to mind) so I was wondering what you all might suggest for a 5 channel amp that I can get for around 1k, new or used. It will be driving the Polk LSi15's, 7's and LSiC. Onkyo 806 as a preamp for now.

Oh I would mention that I don't want an amp that's bright, neutral is ideal but if it was a bit warm that's fine with me too. I heard from a couple people that Emotiva's might lean a little on the bright side?

edit: and while I would like to stay under 1k, if there was something that would be an amazing step up for up to 500 more, id consider it

I have the B&K 125 watt, and it's clean as a whistle. I like it for performance and build quality, but it's only a 2ch. I wish they were still around.

What do you guys think about this

http://www.amazon.com/Outlaw-Audio-M...0375537&sr=1-3

I might be able to snag it for 800. it is a 7 channel but I was thinking that would let me bi-amp the fronts which might be nice

I'd still go with the Adcom or B&K ...I love both of those (I own a 3x200 Adcom and I've heard the B&K can't go wrong with either of those). Now if you had a 200w/per Outlaw, definitely in the running.

lol, my speakers are 4 ohm so that outlaw would be 190/channel. But I was just curious about it as it seemed a good price.

I was trying to find something on amazon because I can get 20% off of anything on there

5x of those with 2200's with my deal would be a bit more than I wanted to spend but not out of the realm of possible

Would 5x monoblocks be the best way to go? I could swing that price. Would this be better than the XPA-5 at ~$700

If you have the room/space for them then yes.

Well those amps seem to be pretty small and they are stackable so it doesn't seem like they take up that much room. Powering them might be a pain though... lol
