Where's My 5 Free Movies? - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone have problems getting their 5 free blu rays from buena vista for buying a blu ray player? It has been about 11 weeks since mailing off my form, It says 8-10 weeks, how long did it take for yours to arrive?

Mine took about three months. Try the search next time, there are numerous threads about this.

I realize you didn't mean me, but for the record I tried like hell to find one of the original 5 free threads to reply to, but no luck. It took me 5-10 minutes just to find this one. Not sure why it was so hard, my internet window just kept going white after clicking search (certain keywords seemed to cause this but I dunno). Tried "5 free offer", "free blu-rays", etc, ugh, it got old fast.

I searched the word "phone" and went through about 15 threads and found one titled "5 free movies offer." It contains this The number is: 1-800-598-9671 which is the phone number to call and check the status of your movies. Hope this helps!

I mailed mine out on January 29 and have not received a thing. I called them a couple of days ago (1-800-598-9671) to check on the status of my order. They said they received and updated my information on April 7 (appx. 10 weeks AFTER I mailed the flippin' thing).

She then proceeded to tell me that it can take 8 to 10 weeks for them to process my order and mail them out. I'm not looking for them anytime soon.

I sent mine in back in early January, and I haven't heard anything either. And I can find no way to communicate to Blu-ray that I have not received them.

I got mine last month after sending it in in January. When I called to check on it the guy told me that all my movies were backordered and that it was taking longer than expected to fill the order. However, as I mentioned before, they did finally arrive. I would say call and bug them (politely though) and stay on top of it.

I got mine in March. I sent off for them in January. Pretty quick turn-around time all things considered.

I received mine in about 6 weeks. I am still waiting (13+ weeks) for my free HD movies.

Folks bothered by other folks not using the "Search" function probably spend more time talking about Blu than actually watching them.

I agree! I wish these people would quit whining about folks not searching for a topic. I thought that was the idea here that you asked a question and someone helped out not that you had to search. Likely, all possible things have been discussed and with that attitude we could just close the forum down and just search with no further discussion or help offered.

I received mine about two weeks ago, sent in the receipt copy and the UPC tab first week of January. So you can expect the films in roughly three months. I only wanted Superman the Movie and Pirates, the rest was pretty much garbage.

Why it was only Tuesday that I was banging my head against the wall, crying about not having yet received my free BDs, and I go to the mail today and "voila!!!" All five of them arrived!!

I was wondering if they came factory sealed. I remember when DVD players first came out and they had a promo to recieve five free DVDs with the purchase of certain players. To my knowledge they were not factory sealed and all of them had the bar codes covered up.

These arrived factory sealed with a bar code and everything. Tomorrow, 3 of these little suckers, The Devil's Rejects, Chain Reaction, and Full Metal Jacket are heading to FYE or possibly MovieStop for a little trade in action.
