This is the KSW-12. It would be a worthy companion to your Quintets. You can buy it online for $300 and up. You can also get the KSW-10 for as low as $200.

hope u have a bunch of movies where cars blow up to justify a purchase of a subwoofer

Yes the klipsch subwoofer mentioned above is a great choice for your speakers. I have the quintet III series and use a polk audio sub which also sounds subpar.

Yep, go with the KSW-10, that's the "matching" sub for that set, or the KSW-12 if you really want to pound it out.

Not sure if you've purchased yet, but I've had the KSW-10 for five years and have been underwhelmed. It produces very muddy, indistinct bass. For a fantastic sub, check out the Bic Acoustech H-100 (on ebay for $249 shipped). MILES better sub than the Klipsch. Check out AVS subwoofer forum for more info - that's how I found out about it. Just a thought.

I had the Quintet II and KSW-12 in my first system ... I still have the KSW-12 with my new speakers.
The KSW-10 is more than sufficient unless you have a very large room.

DON'T go with the 10" Klipsch. Buy an 8" Infinity sub instead. I bought one because the salesman recommended it, and it also costs less. It's very powerful and packs a punch.

I've heard the 10" Klipsch sounds a little muddy in comparison.

this looks to have PLENTY of power for a smaller system..... and it's very affordable, if you can make this happen, I have heard great things about it.
