Default Recommend a Blu-ray for me

I'm looking for any blu ray i don't already have. Doesn't matter if i've seen it or not (but how would you know unless i told you) I'll take the first 5 recommendations and put it to a vote, i'll buy whatever the winner is.

I would have to say the X-Men Collection (4 movies) or 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Bad idea. It's a lot of money to throw after movies you might not watch more than once.

Pricey, but its Hitchcock. Imo well worth it. Especially if you havent seen all the movies in the set.

You're missing a lot of great titles from your collection. Hopefully you'll pick up a bunch of them in the near future.

I would say this is my priority list. By priority, I mean important films that truly must be seen at least once. These films, in my opinion, never get old. I also included one TV show on the list because it's my favorite TV show ever.

1. American Beauty
2. American History X
3. Black Swan
4. Blade Runner
5. E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial
6. Fight Club
7. Forrest Gump
8. Gladiator
9. GoodFellas
10. Green Mile
11. Heat
12. Jaws
13. L.A. Confidential
14. Matrix
15. Pulp Fiction
16. Requiem For A Dream
17. Se7en
18. Shawshank Redemption
19. Shining
20. Sixth Sense
21. Taxi Driver
22. Terminator
23. Traffic
24. Walking Dead: The Complete First / Second Seasons
25. Warrior

Other films that I strongly recommend:

1. Alice In Wonderland
2. Beautiful Mind
3. Blood Diamond
4. Cast Away
5. Catch Me If You Can
6. Curious Case Of Benjamin Button
7. Deliverance
8. Departed
9. Eyes Wide Shut
10. Falling Down
11. Help
12. Jerry Maguire
13. Lawless
14. Machinist
15. Me, Myself, And Irene
16. Memento
17. Mystic River
18. Nightmare Before Christmas
19. Nutty Professor
20. Prestige
21. Reservoir Dogs
22. Road
23. Road To Perdition
24. Savages
25. Sin City
26. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
27. Training Day
28. True Romance
29. Words
30. Zodiac

Other television shows that I strongly recommend:

Breaking Bad: The Complete First Season
Breaking Bad: The Complete Second Season
Breaking Bad: The Complete Third Season
Breaking Bad: The Complete Fourth Season
Dexter: The Complete First Season
Dexter: The Complete Second Season
Dexter: The Complete Third Season
Dexter: The Complete Fourth Season
Dexter: The Complete Fifth Season
Dexter: The Complete Sixth Season
Homeland: The Complete First Season

As a predominant blind buy, I'd suggest waiting for the Hitchcock set to go down in price. I have the DVD version of the set (sans NbNW), and I personally enjoy most of the movies in it, but I don't feel inclined to own all of them on BD, at least not at the current asking price. I'd be more willing to get titles like Rear Window, Vertigo, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and Shadow of a Doubt separately than buy the set, but that's not really an option right now.

I also want this set, but not at that price point. Way too much. It would be cheaper to buy the Bond 50 set right now.

Army of Shadows

It's an expensive Criterion Blu-ray, but you won't regret it. Nobody who buys this Blu-ray ever regrets it.

Paris, Texas

It's, likewise, an expensive Criterion Blu-ray, but you won't regret it.

And I guarantee if it makes your five it will win the vote!
