Blu Ray Drive Question - Blu-ray Forum

I do not yet have a blu ray drive (im still deciding on which one)
And i have a couple of questions.

Does it support 7.1 Audio (Creative Inspire P7800)

Does every drive support the codecs (mpeg-2,h.264/avc,VC-1)

If the Drive is used on 7.1 speakers does 5.1 always play
(I have a reciver for my pc in 5.1 through TOSLINK where sometimes 3 channels play and sometimes all

Do the drives support ALL audio codecs

I know these are noob questions but i want to make sure i have full HD with
7.1 audio for the best expirience.

science u do not teel us what drive your looking at than just look at the standed featurs for blu-ray

I'm pretty sure that all of those features are standard on Blu-ray, regardless of the drive model. But i'm not positive.
