superman 3 and 4 were 10 times so far on my public tv, so i guess we live on different planets

but of course, 3 is really bad, and 4 is one of the worst movies of all times - i really hope they will never come out on blu...

There were two more; however, they were released in a different timeline. That timeline has largely been forgotten in our new reality.

Which is a good thing. Superman 3 was tolerable to say the least. Superman 4... I don't know how Reeves agreed to act in that one. Highlight part of 4 was the fight on the moon. Look closely and you'll notice the dark depths of space is a giant black curtain.... and they didn't even take the time to make those suspension cables for their actors, disappear... crap movie and a disgrace to the Superman series.

although, some like me enjoy collecting all film of a franchise. I would but 3 and 4, but it would have to be cheap!!!

i dont think that will happen. if they were going to do it, they would have superman the super-ultra-mega box set with all 4 and sup returns when that first hit dvd

I liked Superman 3, Richerd Pryor is awesome, Robert Vaughn is too, the storyline is light but it's more comics like with most action and fun rather than boring conversations like Superman returns.

Superman III is actually an enjoyable movie while IV has its heart in the right place but just doesn't compare to the first two films. Plus it was made 4 years after III so it feels somewhat disconnected to the first three.

I'm sure they'll be relased on blu some day but not any time soon.
