I love the way they look but I just can't support them anylonger. If they where UOT I would jump all over them.

Wouldn't double dip anyway (unless there were theatrical cuts) but a steel for each film would have been better. The artwork isn't that great on these either. Very happy with my standard Saga release.

I'll have to see a price tag before jumping on these...
Still can't believe the complete set is still so expensive! I'd have picked it up if it ever hit £35! Cheapest I've ever seen is £50 and even that's rare! Never seen it go for below that on eBay either!

Chances are these steelbooks are not going to include the three bonus discs found in the complete Saga set right? That means I'll bite if these steelbooks are £20-£23 each, but yeah, who am I kidding, it won't be...

I'd be willing to pay more if the original trilogy was unaltered...

EDIT: Alright, I'd throw another fiver each in for them being steelbooks! :P

I would love to buy the OT steel, but even great artwork can't make me support this revisionist crap.

I have to agree with you dude. this artwork isnt making me as moist as it should.::

I've bought that many versions of Star Wars on various formats over the years i should have a wing of Skywalker ranch named after me.

You did, but George Lucas was not happy with it, so he spent the next few years altering it

Seriously Disney (or whoever is in charge of this one) they could have done 6 steelbooks and we ALL would have put out the money to get ALL 6 but instead they do 2? Sounds like they don't like money....

I might get these if they come out soon enough. I'm either going to get these or the saga box set, not both.

lets face it, if you buy theses, it's because you collect steelbooks more so than the movies inside them.

if the price is right, i'll double dip to get the steel!

i can easily sell the discs to someone!

That's a great point. Anyone been waiting to get the discs that doesnt care about the steels but wants the blus at a great price? I'll go half-zies with you. Send me the steel (empty) and print out custom covers for the discs? Just a thought.

Fox.

They still own the rights to the saga until 2020. After that Disney will own the rights to episode 1 2 3 5 & 6.

Fox actually own Star Wars so that will be staying put.
