I presumed the 'complete fifth season' was going to be just that...considering it's more expensive than the three before it. However a bit of googling shows it isn't coming back on air until July. Why is season 5 ( or 5.5 or whatever ) three quid dearer for 5 episodes less??

I guess it's because the old releases are just that - old releases, even though they've never been released on blu-ray before. Guess they want to price the others cheap enough for people who have the DVDs to double-dip.

As the Season 5 DVD set is £19 on DVD - about the same as the others were on release (I think seasons 3 and 4 were a bit more) - it's not too bad that the blu-ray is only £2 more. It's more about the others being cheap than this one being expensive.

So happy that this is finally getting a UK release, it's one of the best shows ever and a crime that it's not on UK television. However, I am really feeling the need to wait for a complete box set after the final half-season has aired.

I will definitely be doing the same, I tend to try and do that with all TV shows, and nice to know I won't have to import that boxset from the US when it does come out!

Yeah I do that as well, can't wait for the box set! Will definitely buy day 1, also I heard they're doing a 4k remaster for the entire series which is fantastic news.

no point ordering if your gonna be missing the final 8 episodes from the boxset

nice to see the UK getting a blu-ray release finally.
Only got into this show last year, but the first 2 seasons are highly re-watchable. Not too keen on seasons 3 and 4 though the FLY episode was brilliant.
I've not re-watched the first part of season 5 yet so unsure about that one.

Would like to see another duo-centric episode before the show ends. Those two are pure tv gold IMO.

depending how the show ends and if I can re-watch season 5 (on top of 1 and 2) then I'll definitely be pre-ordering the full and final boxset. Else I'll be awaiting a price drop if I dont think I'll be getting my monies worth in re-watch-ability

Eh, mid-season breaks are always re-numbered for the UK. It happened with another show, although you'll forgive me for not remembering which one it was.

No boxset for these releases as there's still one more release to go. There'll likely be a boxset of all six volumes later on - hopefully around Christmas as they won't have to wait until a new season airs to release the next one.

Extras detailed for series 4 on Amazon and annoyingly no mention of commentary tracks. At least it won't be worth me replacing my Aussie disc, but UK gets shafted again.

Over 2 Hours of Addictive Extras:

• 21 Episodes of Inside Breaking Bad: A look behind the scenes of what it takes to create each episode
• Deleted Scenes
• Extended & Alternate Scenes
• Gag Reel
• Better Call Saul Commercials
• Behind-the-Scenes Featurettes

Did anywhere outside of the US get the commentaries? We may be getting shafted but at least it's not a specific UK-shafting. Just the norm for the worldwide release of this title.

I wouldn't be 100% certain just yet. Wait till Sainsbury's list it, they're pretty sharp with bonus feature listings.

Does anybody know if Season 5 contains all the extras that are on the US disc?
