Default IGN's Top 25 Action Movies

I saw that IGN had posted their Top 25 Action Movies.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/01/...-action-movies

I'm sure we can all agree and disagree. Let the debating begin!

I just skipped to the top 5. I would not disagree labelling the first 'Die Hard' as the best action movie of all time, it is a CLASSIC.

I agree with Die Hard being number one. In my opinion it's the perfect action film. The rest of my list would look somewhat different, but at the same time would include some of the same titles as IGN.

I agree with this. I thought they put others on the list that were not PURE action like Enter the Dragon (martial arts) and Matrix (sci-fi). An arguments could be made for them, but I can already think of others to take their place that are without question.

Die Hard, Raiders, Aliens, and T2 are all top 4 to me, Terminator should be in the top 10 as well.

Nice to see Hard Boiled on this list, but how could they exclude The Killer?

If we include 'The Raid', there are a ton of great action movies from other countries. Like Ong Bak and some Jackie Chan stuff from the '80s and '90s.

By the way, they're making a Raid sequel that takes place on the same day. How sick is that!

Not a bad list at all. Definitely glad to see 'Die Hard' at #1. Really, their whole top 5 is hard to argue with. Solid list all around.

Lol. Face Off? Avengers? Enter the Dragon? Those aren't even good movies, let alone the best action films of all time. But hey, it is IGN, the giant floating turd in the pool of geekdom.

I like Point Break...but no. Just no.

I think we all agree that T2 should be ranked a little higher.

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior was a great film, but is it top five worthy? I don't think so. It's up for debate what film would better suit that spot but I would definitely move T2 up. I would replace The Avengers with The Expendables. I loved The Avengers but by adding this film to the list ultimately means we would be required to add Iron Man or The Dark Knight. Where's Con Air? The Negotiator? And what about Commando?

Not a bad list overall though. Die Hard will forever be number one.

Predator is not number one, let alone in the top ten. List INVALID!

It doesn't deserve to be on any list. It's awful.
