United Kingdom Regrets

Have you ever put off buying something, and then wish you had when/if it became unavailable/too expensive?

I'm struggling to find the Men in Black 3 HMV steelbook for a decent price since I didn't pay £15 for it and now my HMV is gone

In terms of ones I regret not getting:
Batman Anthology (prices have skyrocketed)
Superman Collection (8 Disc) (it was £15 a while back. Not seen that since.)
The Big Bang Theory Seasons 1-5 for £29 on Amazon's Black Friday.

In terms of ones I DO regret getting:
Indiana Jones on release. - prices dropped rapidly within a couple weeks of it being released. Could've saved some money!
Half-Blood Prince Standalone Blu-Ray - Never opened it. Too invaluable to sell it now. Already have another copy of it. Don't know why I bought it.
Brave 3D - If I knew this was going to be on DMR by now, I'd have waited!
The Artist on release - Again, prices dropped quickly. Could've saved some money!
Singin In the Rain on release - Again, prices dropped quickly.
Shrek 1-4 - Was way too expensive on release for ages. Barely looked at it (got it as a gift for someone) and now it's just sitting on my shelf being stupid.

Oh i regret many things in life...

Some of those are overlooking the HMV exclusives + never got the time to use those McDonald's coupons that get you a combo meal for just £1.99.

Thor. That is all. I collected all of them, and Thor is the one that eluded me. There were so many copies I walked past for weeks and didn't bother. Sigh.

Thor seems to be a popular regret, add me to the list. Didn't know much about steelbooks and their limited availability at the time.

Also, buying Crank 2, then finding out it wont play properly in my BD player (A problem SONY know about but wont do anything)
Great fun watching it on the PC though

Yeah, not buying the Drive steelbook on release. At the time I knew nothing about the film, I just assumed it would be some kind of Fast and Furious clone.

I also regret buying a lot of crap titles in the region of £18 back in 08/09. Yes, I'm looking at you Alien Vs Predator, Black Sheep and The Strangers. Crazy prices! And to make matters worse, I probably sold them on for a couple of quid each.

The only steelbook regret really is Drive for me.

I remember walking past a load of mint ones in HMV and thinking hmmm I do like the sound of this film but I dont want to blind-buy. Big mistake! I got anm amaray with mint slipcover though for £7 so not all bad.

Thor for me as well and Captain America. I don't know why I didn't buy these, as I had plenty of opportunity to pre-order them, and I even picked them up in store. I thought I didn't want them, when really I did

The same almost applied for The Terminator steelbook. I cancelled the regular version knowing that there was going to be a steelbook, but forgot to order it (I actually thought I had), and ended up paying £40 on eBay. There's also the early Blu-ray steelbooks I missed out on, including the original one for Star Trek, as I wasn't really collecting Blu-rays at the time. I have picked up a couple in the meantime but they weren't mint

Finally the original Batman steelbook (the Michael Keaton one). I held off on this and missed out, and I'm presuming the price is fairly high for this
