Here are the US exclusives for The Hobbit, which releases on March 19th.
As of now there is no word on any US 3D exclusives for The Hobbit.

Best Buy (2D) - Exclusive Gollum/Bilbo Lenticular cover, and a CinemaNow code for access to a 30 minute exclusive documentary feature: "A Hobbit's Tale Part 1: The Journey Begins". Possibly on disc too.

Also, I really hate that digibook. Bilbo's pose just irks me. He poses like hes better than everyone else. And gandalf looks like he should be holding a machine gun.

The target exclusive has my favorite cover art by far. It perfectly works for the whole unexpected journey thing.

I was wondering that as well. I hope it is a SB but more then likely it'll be a slipcover.

I have to imagine it would be. It doesn't look like a placeholder image or anything. I just hope they're not stupid enough to actually have Ages 6+ on the box or anything

It's obviously a bigger box that holds the Lego mini-fig. I was just wondering if the art on the box will match the art on the case or do you think the case will be like the standard BD case?

Oh didn't realize you were talking about the case inside. I don't know if the cases' cover art will match it, I was just referring to the box's artwork being nice. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just the standard artwork for the case.

Yeah. That's what I was talking about.

I'm not big on keeping the oversized boxes when it only holds the regular case and little bit'o'swag, ie. 21 Jump St BBY ex. with whistle.

If the actual case that held the disks looked like that, I might be more interested.

There will not be a steel in the US it looks like so I will take my business to the UK... Way to go BB and not get a steel for a movie that deserves it just lost my sale!
