Could it possible that the materials ( RE: exotic fancy materials ) used in the cable pants could have an effect on the sound quality?

The only effect that pants have are that you won't get arrested for indecent exposure.

The biggest effect of fancy speaker wires (I REFUSE TO CALL THEM CABLES) is that they look nice.
