Just finished watching this. Great aq and pq, top notch. Afterwards, I fast-forwarded through the alternate version to get to the 'controversial ending'. All I have to say is that they stuck with the good one.

I think it will be a lot closer than 99.5:0.5 on I am Legend in DVD vs Blu-ray.

it decreased automatically for me. plus i still have the 10% plus i got it on goldbox...so I'm getting I Am Legend for 16.10 :-D....

Of course I'm too lazy to go to walmart to use the coupon for Enchanted...so I'm stuck paying 21.50 for that on amazon.

Acutally CC only gives you 10% of the difference.
so if the movie is $24 on sale and you price match it to $18
you get 10% of $6 = cents off your total, not dollars.

its a lame price match policy.

You'd think Enchanted on DVD would do very well. So, IAL could be doing better than that (could, because we really don't know whether higher popularity rankings really mean higher sales).

I'm beginning to suspect that they don't. There really isn't any way to explain why HD DVD players were always top sellers on Amazon but the sales numbers on their units were still quite small even according to Toshiba.

It doesn't make sense that I am Legend Blu-ray would be selling more than Enchanted DVD even if the Blu-ray is only $18.95.

As it is, they discount on the lowest price out there. And you think they should be discounting even more?

This 10% of the difference seems to be pretty common.

Amazon also had "The Water Horse" for $16.95 for a while too. I jumped on it while it was still that price...

I managed to get one of the NT movies for $19.95, but one of them was $23.95... hopefully they will reduce the price again before shipping...

I saw last weeks numbers and we should be much higher....this was acceptable in December, not March...

Who care about number.. HD DVD is dead.... and all the movie are on the cheap right now for clearance..

To see a Blu-ray at the #1 spot for so long is very surprising. I Am Legend on Blu is killing the DVD version... didn't expect that so soon.

How is the BD availability of this movie in your areas? I went to BB when it opened today and they only had about 5 in stock. Target later in the afternoon and only 4 in stock and they didn't even have them in the new release shelf. Ton's of DVD's though. I've also seen plenty of ID4s and I, Robots at both locations. Seems like sales of BD's are slow in my area?

exactly, people could talk about enchanted, but that BD is outselling the DVD just does not make sense at this point in time (even if one considers that the BD price is exceptionally good)

Well, I am legend dropped to #2 for a while late yesturday, but it is now once again #1 in Amazon sales rankings. Very impressive.
