Default Hot Deal Forum Rant

People seem to have figured out that the $10 google checkout thing is common knowledge.

Also... we don't all have $50 in rewards zone cash, so if you make the title of the post "Planet earth $3.26!!!!!!!!!" then we find out you got the same $50 Planet Earth that everyone and their brother knew about at Best Buy, but used your RZ points, it's not really a deal.

also, if you get $10 off Cars for owning the DVD, the thread should be "$10 off Cars with Standard DVD UPC" or something like that.... NOT "CARS BLU RAY ONLY $9.99 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

which brings me to another point. One exclamation point, or two is sufficient.

I check the Hot Deals forum quite often, because I, like many others, want to try to scoop up good deals on Blu-Rays, or Blu-Ray related stuff. It's not there so you can brag about how you sweet talked the toothless cashier at Wal*Mart into combining 3 coupons, because chances are, that tid-bit of info isn't going to help out anyone else here.

I got close to $700 from cashing in change in a coin-star, so be on the lookout for my "Hot Deal" posted where I picked up a new Blu-Player and 10 movies for $1.09 (the dollar and nine cents is my favorite reference from the movie "The Jerk" sorry... couldn't help it!)

I love this site, and look forward to many more deals!!!!!!

now come on, two is acceptable.

i usually find good deals only for me like if i got to target and they wring up a movie, then say "wow, it should be$XX.xx "and give it to me for the cheaper price.

i get deals on ebay, but other than that nothing special

I agree, these arent really Hot deals, these are things the average consumer doesnt do to save a buck. If you have 17 google accounts just to save 10.00, keep that to yourself, because it isnt a "hot deal"

The best thing about the RZ certificates is the cost! I was thinking about it, and two blu rays with target price match will run me 765$ before tax. 750$ to earn the 15$ in certificates I have, and then 14.99 for the remainder of the original price. I don't see how that's a hot deal!

I just got into the habit of throwing loose change in a couple of containers (Quarters in one, all other in another) amazing how fast it adds up..... Purchased my first "real" set of golf clubs by doing this when I was 14 or 15

I'm really at a loss, because I want a new T.V. (but wife won't let me)

I already got my new sub/speakers/line conditioner all since December or so, and I can't justify upgrading my receiver because I don't want to pump a bunch of extra cash into it, and I'm waiting for Rotel to make a nice HDMI AVR that's 7.1 (but even when they do, I'm sure my wife will say 'no' to that too! )

My wife (see a pattern here????) wants me to use it for NON electronic stuff....... jeez.... why would I want non-home audio stuff!!!!!!

A second Blu-player would be nice.... but honestly I don't think I need one.

I'll just wait for some "Huge Deal" I guess. There aren't that many Blu's coming out that I want, otherwise I'd just use it little by little for that.

I guess there are worse problems to have!
