cod4 map pack,credit card needed?.. - Blu-ray Forum

how are we going to get map packs for the Call of Duty 4 on Ps3?

the release day is april 2 on xbox live for anound 800 points,i questioned myself if we need a credit card to get the extra content for Play Station 3

and We dont all use Credit cards,so whats up?

i'd hate to lose out on this..you all know if you played anound with cod4 online for awhile you grow tired of it..

buy a visa gift card all access kind that way you can register it in your name and then enter it into the ps3 or mastercard heres what they look like

couldnt find one of the mastercard just if you do that make sure you can register it online some of them you cant and since it needs to match your info on the ps3 it needs to be registered in your name

Here's my question ... so if your playing a team deathmatch, and the map is on Chinatown ... but only 8 out of 12 in the room have the map pack... how the f does that work? ... or does it only allow people with that map to enter the room... what if its on Crash and it gets voted to skip and goes to Chinatown... then what? it kicks the guys out the room who dont have the map pack?

I mean, I'll buy the maps no doubt... just a lil confused... btw, if I didnt put my CC information on my psn handle when I signed up do I have to go back, or when I click to purchase can I enter it then in the PSN store?

Use debit cards. Most of them are also credit cards.

Most likely, this will work how they did the set up for Warhawk. They have seperate servers for people who have the expansion pack, and for those who dont and you can see what server has the expansion by a logo. Long story short, if you dont have the expansion, you wont be able to get into a room that offers any of the new maps...

There are already "playstation network cards" out in the form of American Express and Visa Gift cards. I've been using them for almost a year now for my PSN purchases.

You don't have a debit card/check card? Most bank cards have either a VISA or MASTERCARD logo on them, which would enable you to use it as a "credit card"

im sure it just wouldnt even give you the option of playing in that room either booting you if that map came in rotation, or not allowing you in

Little too late for this map pak, now that RSV2 is out, the must of seen a difference in players especially last nite, I had 40 friend last nite playing RSV2, and enjoyed it, of course we had to get use to the control options again because they are the total opposite of COD4.

I seriously doubt RSV2 is gonna overtake COD4 online. The new maps will actually bring back those who have gotten bored with COD4 and started playing other games (e.g. RSV2).
