Default So who's psyched for Sopranos?

My favorite show is coming to an end.

But not before I see seven more episodes

I'm trying to keep my expectations in check for this season. Sopranos has a way of leaving things unresolved and I like enjoying the trip, not the destination. I do have my theory about how it will all wrap up--Carm will find out about how Adriana was murdered, turn state's evidence and testify against T. But I've never been successful in predicting anything about the show. That's probably why I like it so much. That and the excellent writing, acting, directing and production.

Unless you've already seen the first two episodes of Part 2, be surprised, because there's 9 episode left.

And I am very much ready for the show to be over. I can feel it coming to an end and I'd love for the show to go out on top before it's dragged down by its own weight. The Sopranos are unquestionably my favorite show of all time but I would woefully regret if it was stretched past its means.

^^ Far too many shows in the past ended up exactly as you've described here, and that's a shame. X-Files being the first and most prominently painful example that comes to my mind. If only they'd ended things with that movie and come out with another movie every 2-3 years or so? I guarantee you today that X-Files would be as big as Trek was in its heyday, or close to it.

But I digress... You get the point. More shows' producers, in general, need to take a cue along the lines you're suggesting here.

I'm glad Sopranos is going to end on a relatively strong note before it could completely wear out its welcome.

I am psyched for Sopranos (and Entourage). I am wondering what HBO is going to do next because it seems as if they are either ending or canceling their best shows: Lucky Louie and Rome are cancelled (I believe Deadwood is cancelled too although I did not watch that series) and Sopranos is ending. I am quickly running out of reasons to keep paying $12 a month for HBO.

I cant wait to watch the new season as well as above said entourage as well. They film in my area and they were still filming the other day so i guess they are still working on the final eps of the show.
