Actually your wrong. Nowhere in the article that that poster on those forums linked to did it say Uncharted 4 would only be on the PS4. That poster was overreacting to something he misread. Not only that but that article is from 2 years ago. Here is the article that he sourced in his post:

Which means if anything Uncharted 4 would be on both PS3 and PS4.

Wouldn't shock me if Sony teased this during their E3 conference. Maybe a trailer alluding towards a 2014 release date.

Going by the releases of the other Uncharted games it wouldn't surprise me if they put it out as a launch title. There has been a two year gap between each game Uncharted was 2007, 2 was 2009, and 3 was 2011.

Naughty Dog won't announce UC4 till after "Last Of Us" comes out and that's June. If it is a launch title, that would give them only 5 months to promote the game. Plus UC3 was a rushed game that lacked the polish of UC2 so I doubt they'll make the same mistake and rush UC4. Also take into account that UC4 is being made for a new platform and that there will be a learning curve in making the game so I don't think they are still on the 2 year release schedule. I do think UC4 will be announced before the PS4 comes out but I think the earliest you'll see it is first quarter of 2014 but it will more likely come out fourth quarter 2014.

Indeed! Just go back to something closer to Uncharted 2 or 1 and not 3 in terms of feel and melee.

i hope they dont make it for both PS3 and PS4 it will be heaps of extra work due to PS3 running on Cell Tech, and will take away from the PS4 game by not being true to ND's routes by pushing consoles to the max. Multi-gen Games are almost always underwhelming due to being held back from the current gen capabilities

"Did Dominic Monaghan confirm Uncharted 4?
During the interview he was being asked about which games he plays and it turns out that Dom is quite the gamer. Mostly PlayStation games but he’s played pretty much all the main games that are out at the moment and then he said something that surprised everyone.

But what I’m really looking forward to is playing Uncharted 4 next year."

Uncharted 4 on PS4 has a nice ring to it. Sorry for those hoping for a PS3 version, but really, whats' the point? Oh yeah, go buy a PS4

I think I need a little more confirmation then from the mouth of an actor that has absolutely no connection to the game series or to Naughty Dog other then playing their games.

I liked all them Uncharted games on PS3. I liked the second one best because it was the biggest of all 3. If multiplayer wasn't on the 3rd, I believe the single player would have been just as big or bigger than Uncharted 2, dunno

At least with next-gen if Uncharted is released, they can add multiplayer without taking away anything from the single player experience.

I don't know the PS4 release date and Uncharted 4 announcement combined could kill me. I would love to see an announcement but I'd expect one for 4 at either TGS or the VGA's.
