These covers keeps getting uglier and uglier...
I don't mind the sequel, but the Hunchback cover was the way to go on 2 movies collection

I've missed out on purchasing the last dvd release so I'll be purchasing this on blu, Kuzco was a great character, lil annoyin at 1st but by the middle of the film you start to care bout him. Yzma, she's like a cousin to Ursula only without the squid legs lol

I've never seen this. How does it compare with the later Disney animated films? Is it more Home on the Range (ugh) or Hercules (yay!)?

Yes, I can live with the sequel being included as a "bonus feature," in my mind, but it's harder to do that when they split it onto the cover.

I might fall back to the 2-disc DVD on this one.

ENG is an excellent, hilarious film. Entirely engaging and rewatchable. It has a slight edgy, sardonic sense to it that plays out like a good Pixar film, but has that breezy, polished feel of classic 90s era Disney. It's a good mix of both.

This is exciting news!

Yeah that cover is horrendous. Lilo & Stitch and Atlantis got pretty decent covers so it's even more frustrating that my favorite, ENG, gets....that. Ugh.

That cover is offensive to every fan of the first film.

Thrilled that this is getting a release. Never was one of my favorites, but still an awesome movie.

I also hate the cover. Even if KNG wasn't a dtv cheapquel, the design itself is just poorly done.

By the way, has anyone ever listen to the soundtrack with the songs that were originally going to be in the film? I can't stop listening to "Snuff Out the Light", I wish they would've at least kept that song in, as its a great backstory for Yzma

Yeah, why are they putting Cuzco and Yzma on the cover of "Kronk's New Groove" when they didn't appear in it?

As for any other complaints....um, sorry, ya lost me, but I wasn't twelve when I saw it, and therefore don't have any childhood sentiment for the first film.
It was nice, but that was enough of a surprise, back then.

That was their FIRST idea for the obligatory ABC Saturday-morning spinoff of the movie:
Since Patrick Warburton was still at the studio doing the Buzz Lightyear series, and he was the only character we liked anyway, they originally piloted the idea of Kronk going out to start his first new diner, help his friends, and finally get a little respect.

Not bad, but suffice to say, they went with "The Emperor's New School" instead, where they could plug in the Hercules: the Series idea of keeping the movie plot without bringing back David Spade.

Seriously Eric, you have got to understand where people are coming from. This cover is just the two old DVD covers being recycled with a blue border dividing them. It's obviously a sign of Disney not taking any time with this movie, which might indicate another Hunchback style release, which is inherently offensive.

(Um, and here's where we calmly and diplomatically have to whisper that maybe Hunchback and Groove fans might not be high on Disney's priority list ..."Well maybe we SHOULD be!" Okay, but you've got Black Cauldron fans of the right age saying the exact same thing, and we know they're messed-up.
I'd taken a beating for ten years as a Treasure Planet defender, so did I complain that we got a bare bones edition? I wasn't expecting ANY!)

They did appear in it. Kuzco cameos in the beginning and end of it, while Yzma is the antagonist of the first segment
