Sony is the ONLY company I know of that when they say their customer are important to them, they really mean it. Sony's dedication to customer service and quality are the reasons why I buy Sony products!

they were here at 3pm sharp, 2 guys from sony japan, and a guy from a marketing firm, they filmed the whole thing and spent about a hour and a half asking for my input and what would I change, what would I like the unit to do. they wanted to know about every thing including how I came to buy it, how I thought the unit was packaged, did the manual cover what was needed, did I use the factory cables. They had me show them how I use, if I liked the remote that came with it.
They had me go in great detail about how I would make it better, including showing them the interface on my eccient dvd manager.

they also took a lot of notes when I told them what I would like to see in the future.

The best part was when I opened my media closet with 2 racks full of equipment that runs my whole house, they both said wow!! They said they have never seen so much stuff in a house.

I was really impressed how sony would go this far to make there products better. More companys should do this.

how about some more info in your sig on what goods you have to offer.
im entry level into HD and the sky is the limits i am curious as to what all can be bought and used in HT and around the house. 2 racks full is quite alot. I recall my days of working a projection both at the movie theater a good 10 years ago and each screen had a good amount of equipment per screen.

I have no idea they said it would be shipped to me next week, they did ask twice if I had a ps3 which I do not not, I think they wanted to see what I had before bringing gift, I think they are going to visit 4 people total, and everybody will get something different.

I don't know much about these Home Servers, but it this is what I would like to see. They need a 10TB hard drive (200 x BD50 capacity), you could copy all your Blu Rays to them, without storing the discs in there, then via Ethernet to remote devices at each TV in the house, you could watch what you want, even the same movie as someone else, but at a different time point in the movie. Go from the remote devices in to the HDTVs via HDMI 1.3 connection. Then using a remote control, choosing your movie flicking through the artwork coverflow, similar to an iPod. Perhaps the remote control to the device could replace the TV remote. It should support all audio formats and BD-Live. You could have a surround sound set up in each room. The remote devices should have full functionality of the disc features from chapter search, special features etc. As copy protection, it could copy from BDs but not be able to copy back to anything else. I suppose I could be asking for a bit much, but the technology is out there, it can happen.
