Quick question for you Onkyo 705 owners.

Hello guys/gals, Quick question.

I have my PS3 hooked up via HDMI to Onkyo 705 and then HDMI to TV.

I have audio on the PS3 set to Linear PCM which "Multichannel" lights up on my 705.

My question is what listening mode do most prefer if you have 5.1 setup??

well it depends on the audio codec.

for dd 5.1 and ddEX 5.1 i prefer Thx surround Ex
For dts 5.1 and dtsES 5.1 i prefer thx cinema with neo:6
For 2.0 tracks i prefer neuralTHX7.1 if it is a game or a movie.
For 2.0 music i prefer 7 channel stereo or all chanel stereo.

for pcm, ddtruHD 5.1, 7.1 i useally go for the original track.

i usually leave it on multichannel and not mess with the sound from blus
