Two "finales" were filmed for Tuesday: one that left viewers with a cliff-hanger (in the event of a Season 3), and one that resolves things a bit more. The latter edit, the one now headed to your screens, will leave fans "not too happy," Skeet Ulrich confirmed in this Mitovich Mega Minute Q&A (at the 3:00 mark):

I hate neilsen families

I hate the average imbecile American --> too stupid to recognize a great show even if it bit him in the ass

I hate television executives with their astronomical paychecks, unable to figure out a way to support and keep brilliant shows on the air... despite the lack of viewership from J6P

How can a show like the Apprentice, that outlived it's usefullness and became TOTALLY uninspired after it's second season get 5 more seasons while brilliant shows keep on getting cancelled one after another

People need to make some SERIOUS noise and rants to make sure Jericho gets picked up by the Sci-Fi network

I'm beggining to wonder if I will EVER watch a scripted show again unless it's on a network like FX, USA, HBO, SHOWTIME or SCI-FI

My cousin's son (my second cousin?) was in season 1 of Jericho. I never saw that episode or episodes though. He was one of the kids on the school bus. He was an orphan on Nacho Libre too. I did see that! It was my first Blu-ray purchase in November 2006!

Although 1080 and I rarely agree on anything. I was really disappointed to find out the Jericho was canceled. Total bummer.

I would love to see it get picked up.

WHAT!!! Cancelled again. This totally sucks. What do we do? How do we make enough noise to have the show picked up again? I'm loving how the show goes, the last episode was fantastic.

If it's canned again, the likelyhood of a second uncanning is slim to none

Well at least we got a 2nd season. The last episode is next week. This realy sucks, because its one of the better shows on TV, but like Firefly, and the other short lived good ones, they always can a good show to do ratings.

The show is being shopped around. Noise MUST be made to let potential networks (SciFi in particular... since they are allready airing Seasons 1 & 2) realize that we care and want to see more!

I suggest:

1) participating in any online petitions

2) Voice directly on the SciFi.com Jericho forum:

http://forums.scifi.com/index.php?showforum=149

3) E-mail SCIFI directly --> feedback@scifi.com

There's a good chance Jericho could be SciFi's highest rated show if they pick it up... especially since Batlestar Galactica is ending...

P.S. A show like Jericho should last at least 5 seasons (they KEY amount for getting lots of cash in syndication) and I don't want to see my dream of owning a Blu-Ray 5 season box set of Jericho go up in smoke

I got the impression that 4400 was cancelled because they missed pre-production season

The ratings have always been excellent on it

I'd say it's better than 50/50 they're going to produce a wrapup movie/miniseries

Again?! Stupid Paramount. First, the cancel Jericho, then the renew Jericho, then the go HD DVD Only, then the go Blu-Only, then the cancel Jericho. Someone should stop Paramount before the do something really stupid. Again.
Damn. I was really starting to like Jericho. Stupid Paramount. And the removed Jake's phrase "Nuts" so we can't ship peanuts and stuff to Paramount Studios. They better release it on a BD to make up for this crap.

Groan. 4400 cancelled? I love that show too.

We should start a poll on the worst axeing of a TV series. Condition is that the show ends non voluntarily, with cast and crew willing to continue.

My vote would go to Tru Calling. The ending of that was just harsh beyond belief, and left me in shock for days. I still feel angry thinking of it.

Well, that would probably be Firefly by a landslide then

She should have done the Faith series, she was being punished for defying the will of Whedon

Think I'm nuts?

Not a single person who has left his employ while the shows were still on have had success

Greenwalt- Every show cancelled, even the good ones. Tim Minear, same thing. Amber Benson- Didn't give up theother job to play the first- Retribution was swift

Ira Behr just can't seem to get a break. Old BlueBeard is one of the bestshowrunners in the biz, and 4400 is a testament to that. I've put in some emails asking about it from people who would know, but haven't gotten a response back, and my friend in LA couldn't make it out to the picket line to ask Ira while there still was one

Trail of bodies for them also includes Drive, the "let's put it on Sunday, and cancel it the following Monday" show.

Awesome show, I recently watched all of Season 1 in a matter of 2 days and have been watching Season 2 every week! It is the only show on CBS that I watch so I will be canceling them off my list of networks. (now just FOX and NBC)
