I put this together as a place where guys who dont have the most money in the world have put together a room of their own and have other things in life but still have a love for HT. if you wanna post links, give advice or show your gear go ahead. Its your room show it off and be proud of it. We all have a common goal and thats entertainment in our own space with the best products we can afford at that point in life we are at. No shame no gloating no mine is better that yours, just a place for us to talk about gear from entry level to advanced.

Default Plaques

If your lookin for plaques theres a guy that sells them on ebay and they are made of 1/4" glossy black lucite. Heres a link:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DTS-Audio-Ma...item2a2b4efb17

They are $15. He will even customize stuff for you. He was really good, email him and let him know what you want and he will do it.

Rich's guy on eBay does color as well. I emailed him as I'd like a blue blu ray sign and he replied he can do colors just costs a little extra and takes a little more time.

I really like it. Most reasonable set up I could see myself migrating to in the future. Jealous, but great images to use as a basis

Off top of your head, ballpark total cost including chairs and all adornments. And did you do it yourself after moving in, or as part of new constructions? If you dont mind.

Did it myself. About $8,000 would be my guess. Chairs, $2000 total, speakers about $1500-$2000, components, about $1500, screen $500-$800, projector $1200-$1800. Look for deals and spend the money on the components not cables. Monoprice.com is a great site for cables and wire. Light up sign about $100, posters and frames about $200.

I'm really digging the look of this theater, especially the front stage. Screen, speakers, and treatments give a nice theatery feel. Do you find that the BICs match well with the Polk center?
