I have it and was not too impressed with it. Reminded me of the Kelly Slater doco Ultimate Wave, but not as good.

wow, surprised you didn't like it but your 100% right on ultimate wave, its very much like it, both in content and 3D, possibly even better than Tahiti though.

Everyone else give it a go and see what you think. When I picked it up I wasn't expecting much, but after giving it a go id put it in my top 3 best ever 3D movies so far, and I've seen well over 80.

I've been wanting to see this. Is the only currently available 3D disc of this the Blu-ray available in Australia? There are clips on both of the "Best of 3D" releases in Germany, but I don't think the entire film has been released anywhere else yet.

I'm not sure, hopefully its International but it might not be. Might have to get it on ebay, but believe me its very worth it. I hire most of the 3D movies I see so its saves me a lot of money.

I get 3 new releases and 3 weekly 3D blu ray's for $10 at the video store, being that cheap that's why I get to watch so many. Had low expectations for this one, that is why I was blown away when I realised it was even better than Tahiti. Story is great, 3D is awesome and it has some really funny moments.

I will admit the view from behind the surfer while he's carving the wave is pretty cool. Thinking outside of the box there.

Cant wait to read the review. Sounds like a winner..based on some of the comments here.

And if Strom Surfers is either the equal or superior 3D blu compared to Ultimate Wave: Tahati, I'm picking it up ASAP!!

So far, the only listing I can find of this doc is Target's website...where it says it is not available in stores..only online. Wal-mart and BB I got no listing of it whatsoever.

Looks like I may have to wait on this one. I was going to get it if it was on the shelf...but if it is not and its only available online...I probably will wait (wife's birthday is next weekend so I have to watch where this weeks check goes and if I can save a little...GREAT)

3D sounds strong from your description, thanks. I'll keep it in mind.
