Default Need Help On Tv

Hey guys my dads looking at a 52" Sharp Lcd 720p on sale for 1399. and hes deciding to get it but he wasnt sure cause he thinks he wants 1080p so my question is there a decent tv for under 2gs thats atleast 52in flat panel and 1080p

Well....on Saturday I went to Fry's Electronics...they had the 52" Sony XBR4 on sale for $2499 (NUTS!). I don't know if you have one in your area or not, but that's an amazing deal! might want to check it out if he's ok with spending just a tad more.

Does it have to be an LCD? Have you looked at the Panasonic Plasmas? Affordable and 1080p as well. If you have your heart set on an LCD, then I can't think of a better bang for the buck solution than the Sammy LNT5265 series.

yeah best bet would be the samsung 5265 its 1999 here in canada so it must be cheaper in the states. But hurry its liquidation cuz the new models are coming, and it'll be hard to find.

thanks that sammy looks like a great buy and i also just found alot of good sales at frys if anyone is interested they had a 50inch panasonic 1080p on sale for 1699. and they had the 52inch aquos 1080p for 1999. so i just told him to hold off on the 720p cause u can find a better tv for a couple hundred more
