If songs are going to be included as extras on the disc why doesn't the studio go the extra mile and master the song in either uncompressed 2.0 DTS MA 2.0 uncompressed 2.1 DTS MA 2.1 or DTS MA 5.1 as opposed to Dolby Stereo?
I'm thinking Top Gun and most of the James Bond films. |

I still can't believe that there is no Guns 'N Roses - You Could Be Mine video on any of the 378 different Terminator 2 blu ray releases around the world..
![]() Maybe it's because a song for the video can be a slightly different version than the one included on the CD. Plus it might have some sound effects within the video that are not a part of the song on its own. You mentioned James Bond, and I know that there are such separate sound effects on the Duran Duran James Bond video. And I'm pretty sure that they only have the song complete with those sounds are on a dated source, a tape. |
