No way I'm buying this day 1 after the shitty release last year. They had to go and muck with the mechanics and whatnot and it was just horrible to play. I'm not the best player out there but I'm not the worst. However even on freshman level that shit was way too hard. Players just dropping the easiest of balls, the CB's and defense of the other teams are suddenly super human and fly out of nowhere and deflect balls or intercept.

10-12 were awesome, but last year's was massively disappointing.

Gonna have to demo this and then gamefly it or something before I pay for it. It's a shame that so many games I like have to constantly **** with what already works and make it worse. Madden long ago did that to the point that I barely even play that series anymore. Also Soul Calibur V was a travesty and broke my heart as that's my favorite fighting franchise.

NCAA was my one sports franchise that I played, and now I didn't even realize it was about to come out.

Hope they stopped trying to "improve" it and just made it fun to play without being on some next level difficulty even on "Freshman"

This is going to play more like Madden 13 than NCAA 2013 with the physics being tweaked. A little worried that they reintroduced the sprint button, no need for that and hope there is an option to use the old method.

lol I loved having the sprint button. I was so used to it that I still used it in the last game even though I think they've done away with it since 2010 maybe.

I don't know why they don't just put the Heisman winner on there each year. Although perhaps not every heisman winner wants to be on there.

Ultimate Team Mode will have 1400 players at launch.

The very first thing you’ll do after firing up NCAA Football 14 Ultimate Team is pick your school to get your base team.This determines your initial playbooks, as well as home and away uniforms, so choose wisely. You’ll get enough players in your initial pack to fill out your roster, and you might even receive one of the school's all-time greats.

Wonder if I get Jason Pierre-Paul if I use my alma mater USF, or Mike Jenkins or Nate Allen.



Head-to-Head Seasons puts a new twist on traditional online play. Players will compete in 10-game seasons and advance up eight tiers of opponents. Winning games during the season will give you a higher seed come playoff time. Emerge as the tournament champion to reap the most valuable rewards.

Also this year will be new camera angles, 3 to choose from including "coordinator angle" which shows all players. One of the criticisms from hard core players was that only 1 camera angle was available.
