Yah, that's right, Onkyo's replacements for the 505, 575 and 605 are just around the corner.
http://www.gardi.de/onkyo_integra_ne...news_flash.htm The Onkyo TX-SR576 and TX-SR506 will be available in April at suggested retail prices of $479 and $379 each, respectively. No mention of release date or specs on the TX-SR606, just some pics. Additional info on the TX-SR606 is here - http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news...s.php?id=15734 Note, when you get to the 185w/ch into 7 channels, it's 6 Ohms, which works out to around 140 or 150w/ch into 8 ohms. Still, pretty schweet. The 506, 576 and 606 are also up on Onkyo's website with owner's manuals and detailed specs. Last edited by dobyblue; 04-24-2008 at 11:01 AM. |

I'm very much looking forward to seeing what the TX-NR906 will offer.
![]() (Oh and I'm pretty sure they'll be available in black, all models, the press site at the start of the link suggests they will be) AV Sales has it up for pre-order, saying "Black" and "Silver" http://www.av-sales.co.uk/Coming-Soo...SR606-410-.htm 140 Watts/channel is the TX-SR606 rating into 8 Ohms. ![]() |

The design itself looks far better in person. I really like the way the 805 and 905 look since they have that panel that hides most of the buttons. I don't like how they got rid of the blue light around the volume knob on this new series though....

Same. The 805 looks fantastic to me. Much cleaner look. Too bad they removed the light that just added to the already amazing look.

I unfortunately don't agree. It's definitely the most important part because, well these are audio devices. But I want my equipment to look good as well as sound good.
Call me shallow but I love a good looking receiver! ![]() |

I don't think it's shallow at all.
I, however, don't care if anyone sees my equipment. It's when they hear it that it's going to blow their socks off. I think the Onkyo's look pretty good. I think the Denon's and Elite's look better, but I'm not unimpressed by the Onkyo's - they've got way too many logos on them to not impress. Plus even if no-one is impressed by my TV, BD player, receiver, cabling and speakers, once I show them the Servo 15v2 without it's grille on, it's GAME OVER. ![]() |

They only list it as 90w. The asia.cnet piece only shows 100w. ![]() |

I think that in different countries they measure watts differently.
