Default Slipcover idea ??

Hey i was wondering if any of you do anything different with your slipcovers ? By different i mean i was thinking of taking my slips and framing about 12 or so in like a poster kind of thing or displaying them on the wall. I love slips and i think its a waste to just have them on the cases and not displayed so i was just wondering if you guys think that would be a cool idea or if you guys do anything cool with your slips.

I like to keep them on the cases haha.
I've done that to old dvd slips, but i think it looks kinda tacky, but if you like it, do it.

Yeah i mean i live in an apartment so i have these ugly ass white walls and i want something on them so i was thinking about putting my slips up. I used to do it with wrestling mags and i covered almost an entire wall and it looked pretty cool. But i'll give it a try and post some pics to see what people think.

I have mostly posters up in my room framed. I can sometimes find decent prices on posters and frames. I usually change the posters once month except if its a newer poster and i paid a lot for it. haha
Currently I have a Spring Breakers and Hot Rod posters framed.

I like the idea in terms of a poster with a few slips together, slips with no banners etc would be better as in ones with mostly artwork like Barbarella, Chinatown etc, you could do a theme as in genre or period 80's,90's etc. I love the UK Arrow slips Also a poster with lenticular slips could look cool.

Cheers V

That would mean you'd have to cut your slips, unless you want the spine showing as part of your montage.

not necessarily, if there was some sort of depth to it, kind of like a shadow box, it could be done... but that seems like more trouble than its worth to display...slipcovers

LOL, I was actually thinking of doing this, but ended up like the way they look over my blu's on my display shelves.

Yeah i mean you could overlap them so that only 1 spine is showing.I would prob do themes as in my disney movies, action, horror and things like that.I am also going to put posters up i just hate blank walls and find them really boring.

you also don't have to cut them, or use a shadowbox, you could just flatten them to one side and hide the one side under a matte...I think doing a series like Fast and Furious or Star Wars it would look cool
