Just picked up Bonnie & Clyde's Ultimate Collector's Edition DVD yesterday and it is the coolest thing. It has two disks completely remastered with more than two hours of new bonus content. Includes a documentary by the history channel, wardrobe tests and additional scenes. It also comes with a 36-page hardcover book of rare, behind-the-scenes photos, a 24-page reproduction of the original 1967 press book and special mail-in poster offer. Its so pretty its ridiculous.

is that the dvd or blu-ray release? I remember hearing about the book releases because I'm waiting on the blade runner one, though I know nothing of when to expect it... but it I didn't see that edition on any websites.

That is the standard definition DVD I belive. All the information I have seen shows the high definition edition to be one disc and book only. No Box.

I have to disagree that this is the sickest to date. Blade Runner briefcase edition would have to get that award. Model car, origami unicorn and enough versions of the movie and extras to keep one busy for a year.
If Warners had done this edition for Blu-ray you would be right as it stands Blade Runner still holds the title of coolest packaging.
