Gattaca or Shining survey - Blu-ray Forum

I know I will end up getting both in the future, but am going to use the google checkout to get one today. So, which one floats your boat? I really like both movies, so people in the know...let me know your opinions on PQ/AQ. Thx

I say the Shining but it's one of my favorite movies.
The PQ/AQ is great for such an old movie and no matter how many times you watch it the movie will always scare the crap out of you.

I have both. If it were closer to October I'd say Shining, but if I ordered today I'd go with Gattaca first.

I'd go with with Gattaca, but I'd rather have my eyes cut out with a dull, rusty spoon then ever watch The Shining again.

Both are good, but I'd go with Gattaca. I'm biased though, because I loved Gattaca. Then again, maybe that was the point of your question...

Anyway, I don't own The Shining, but I can speak on Gattaca. It has really solid PQ- there is grain so if you're against that be aware, but the level of detail and depth of the picture is REALLY solid.

Plus it's a great movie.
