well sorry to hear your losses for you all, hopefully it will work out later in life. yes 21 is early, my wife and I got married when we were 28 and meet when we were 24. it was worth the wait as we have a fantastic marriage and i could not ask for a better wife and mother of my children. so yes waiting is worth it guys
she did and,you don't know the reason why she left but like I said im sad but im not gonna let her get me down. Im 20 my family and I are rich and im sure I can find someone else out there.

Like I said..don't worry about finding anyone. Find many. Women come in many flavors (yum yum)! Find out why you like some over others and why you will be able to trust one someday. You'll look back at this someday and be thanking your lucky stars...She did you a favor.

That said, I feel for the blokes in this thread who are down right now. But life goes on. The world still turns. In other words: All the things that are destined to be permanent will remain that way.

PS... to those saying 21 is too young to get married, I say it's all relative. I got married at 21 and have a very stable, solid marriage. It CAN be done... but I won't deny it is without its challenges. It takes a lot of faith, a little practice, and you gotta be a great giver, and an even better FORgiver.
Of course they say that, if everyone was happy or set on divorce then they would have no livelyhood

Odds say that you are more likely to divorce than stay married (albeit a slim margin) so protecting what you are working / worked for is key.

Not to say you are going to screw the other out of everything, but limiting the amount needed to survive and putting clauses in that if they re-marry or make more than you to limit or eliminate payout is just smart business.

Everything is a business decision in a capitalist society. Sure, there is a lot more than money dealing with a relationship but money makes everything work and buys everything you own.

Whew,.. The post had me worried right up till that last bit.

Now,.. trust me,.. there are worse fates then to be 21 and single. Look on the bright side but you better put some sunglasses on first or it might blind ya.

I am getting married for the first time this July and I am 34 years old.

Enjoy your twenties my friend and don't get down for too long about your current situation. It was not meant to be.

Hahahaha, thanks for all the replies guys. She sure was something though. One of those ivy league drop-outs getting paid bucket loads to work at a tech start-up company. She liked beer, cars, trucks... and BLU-RAYS. She was also bi and liked other girls practically more than I did. She would drag ME to Hooters to hit on the waitresses.... we got to bring some home with on us on a few different occassions She also liked lunch specials at strip clubs

Yeah, I guess it's over, and hey, maybe she wasn't the one for me. But you have to admit, I probably won't find one like that for a loooonnnnnggggg time again. Oh, and who said I was making minimum wage? I work 2 jobs 60 hours a week at over $20 an hour! Hahaha. Not bragging, I'm just not your average 21 year old.

Damn dude, you gots to get her back!!!!!

Just kidding, that's not wifey material, that's shagging material; be glad you got to experience it. I've been there and it's a lot of fun, but I'm glad I'm with a more family orientated woman now....who also loves SACD's and Blu-ray's.

With Doby 100% on this one. Definitely not marriage material, but something to keep around as long as you can until you find the one you want to be with. I met one of those just before I met my wife. I knew it wouldn't last so I kept dating my wife. Ah, the good ole days.

Hahaha... yeah, I do agree to some extent, but she wasn't like most of the girls you'd think of when describing her. She was SMART. It was nice to have an intelligent conversation with a girl. She also appreciated my hobby of Blu-ray collecting and could actually keep up with my conversations regarding the topic.

Don't get me wrong, we obviously weren't meant to be, but she wasn't too far off my ideal woman (and yes, even without the Hooters girl threesomes).

The Hooters girls were just a bonus

Get a little older and date OLDER women! Then wait for the younger ones to catch up. Forget the hobby nonsense. You are young. Always keep your eye out for good ones, but don't pass up the butta faces, hotties, and beerball queens.

I keep hearing this song. Something about money can't buy love? Respect or class for that matter.
