Default The Mist is depressing as hell (some spoilers)

I just finished watching The Mist. I dont think i'll pick this up on Blu-Ray, its not really a re watch type of movie. I do like the idea of the type of movie that occured, just not the part where the aliens came from. the Army looking into another dimension and a window that let these creatures in. And the ending was pretty surprising.

Good renting movie, but I dont think ill buy

I read the Stephen King novel eons ago. The written version is quote good. The only reason I did not by it on disc is because I refuse to spend money on oldray DVDs. I would have bought it sight unseen had it been released on Blu-ray.

I thought The Mist was great. Always loved The Novella.I think they did a very good job. I enjoyed all the scenes in the supermarket.Loved the drug store part too with the spider monsters. I been waiting years for Hollywood to turn The Mist into a movie and when it finaly happen I was not disapointed.
Also this movie was not made by Stephen King,it was made by Frank Darabont. It's just based on Stephen Kings story. Also Frank changed the ending. The Novella ending was totaly difrent and the boy did not die.

I recently read the book. Stephen King left it up to the readers to decide what happens. They were still trying to find a way out of the mist when it ended. The movie ending is probably what the director thought would happen, he is the sick bastard. However, the movie was GREAT! When is it coming to Blu-ray?

How about a spoiler alert for those of us who haven't watched it yet, since the movie was different than the book. Damn.....

Yup. When you dont read before you go into a thread, and then make a dumbass statement, you usually get something in return. The father shoots his son at the end.
