Default Ordered The Departed - Casino Royale and The Rock

So happy i was late to Bluray game i currently own 24 Bluray movies all *reference quality* i might add. It might be hard to believe but i haven't seen those three flicks yet. Knowing the Month of April is going to be one the Bluray industry will like to forget. A movie watcher like myself gotta pass the time some how. The more i look at those upcoming releases in April the more i see nothing worth purchasing by my standards. What do you guys think of those three movies mentioned above?

ok ok... first of all I will commend you on your movie choices. You will enjoy all those movies many times over. They are completely worth your money.

But I don't see how April will be a month to forget. Here's why...

1. Movies being released with big fan bases: Aliens vs. Predator 1&2 on April 15th, and then add Commando and Predator and Juno to those. Big day for me. April 1st has me buying Hidalgo, and possibly Coyote Ugly & Unbreakable. You've got Alvin and the Chipmunks for the kids as well. April 8th has the 6th day and the Adventures of Baron VanMunchausen. Those titles people are looking forward to.Then on the 29th you have the First Knight, 27 Dresses for the ladies, Golden Compass, and Both Oceans 11 and 12. The only rather forgetful day is the 22. Compare that with March 4 and 25th. Those days were some Yawners.
2. April won't be forgetful also because we are closing out March with out a single release date from Paramount or Universal on movies. That still has till Monday to change. It's been said that it takes a few months to gear up for releases. I could see us hearing something from those studios sometime in April. Hopefully the week of the 22nd...

No offense, WimeTime, but I'm more inclined to agree that April isn't going to be that big of a deal. Each month of the year so far has brought box-office busters, none so this month. The only movie I'd even think about buying, actually, I think I will, is Unbreakable.

I agree that the AVP movies can't begin to compare with the Alien movies/Predator movies, but I just don't see how it could be a month to forget. Maybe it's just a preference issue...
