I've noticed that movie mode is horrible as well. There is ZERO detail in the picture, no color, everything blurs and smears all over the place, and everything is too dark to see and strains your eyes. I fail to see why everyone on every site I go to says to calibrate a Samsung TV by using movie mode. They must be blind.

Not sure why it's so horrible for you guys. I calibrated my UN46F6400 with a meter and using movie mode as a base I didn't have to make any super drastic changes to hit all the targets.

I don't get it either. I've gotten three Samsungs recently to replace all our old TVs in the kitchen and bedrooms. All are clearly best in movie mode.
