But Will is rescued at the last minute by Waggoman's adopted son, Vic Hansbro (Arthur Kennedy). Will finds that Waggoman has become increasingly concerned over who will inherit his vast empire.

wow, I remember when Sony talked about how they were working on this film for a bd release. I'll get it, but I gotta say for all the hype regarding this film I didn't think it was all that incredible when I finally watched it.
don't get me wrong--it's a good western; I was just surprised it was considered one of the top 15 westerns ever. didn't seem worth that type of rating to me.

Good news! I saw this on TV as a very young kid, in black-and-white, pan-and-scan, with mono sound. It will be great to see it on a big screen in full CinemaScope and stereophonic sound!

Great news, but why Twilight Time? I refuse to buy from them since most of there BD cost more than $30 and that's way to high since also they have limited copies. Now, if the quality of it is really good then I'll consider buying it.

Glad this is coming to blu-ray. Another Stewart western I want on blu is The Cheyenne Social Club, which also stars Henry Fonda and Shirley Jones.
