I've had some intermittent problems with mine as well. Mainly in PixelJunk Monsters and Hot Shots Golf. Annoying.

Mine have been acting fine. Have you tried resetting the controllers?

hmm.. well i read around on a few sites and no one had the same problem as you. But a few people had problems where it would still work fine while attached via USB. So maybe its worth a shot to reset the controllers via the little hole on the back.

There's a little hole above the right corner of the sticker on the back of the controller. Its just big enough for a paperclip or something.

I dont know if it makes a difference if the controller is on or not when you reset it though

Mine started playing up after 2.17
The PS button wouldn't turn the PS3 on, I had to connect it via USB, cycled the power and it worked. Removed the USB lead and no problems after that. Obviously could be a totally unrated thing. |

I have a similiar issue except when I remove the USB cable, the controller completely turns off. My 2nd controller works fine and powers the PS3 up with the PS button. The only way I can turn my Ps3 on or play any games with it is to connect it to the USB. I have also let it charge fully and then remove the USB cable, but the controller turns off. Has the controller lost the ability to hold its charge or is there another way I can get this issue resolved?
Thanks! |

the only problem that I have had is my left stick stick in the up position. This could be from to much play time though honestly, maybe I can use it as an excuse to get another DS3
