Here is a youtube post of a kind of promo that was used for the Billboard Music Awards for Highest Grossing Tour of the year.

It flows best at the 780HD mode... You can tell they have upped the colors which I was hoping would be to a minimum, I don't mind the effects as much usually they are used to an ok effect. The lighting looked so great in person that I figured in HD it would hold its own. Instead Give Me All Your Luvin' reds are pushed to the point of bleeding IMO. I wished it was coming out sooner than September but I suppose it is better than November.

Nice I was at both St Paul shows and I was in the Golden Triangle for the first show, and Off to the side for the second show.

Here are some Clips I took of the show. If I was up front I would only take a few seconds because I really wanted to enjoy the show.

Most look decent in HD format. So Change the Settings.

Celebration / Give it to Me

Like a Prayer (Clip)

Vogue (Clip)

Girl Gone Wild (Clip)

I have a few other clips I posted also on my YouTube page.

No one is really sure how this disc will turn out. It may be an amalgamation of many different shows.

I will get this as she usually puts in a great performance.

The extreme gun violence in this however looks a bit disturbing and makes her look extremely desperate for attention.....

how very true. Personally I thought the first three quarters of the show didn't really impress me - song wise, but the dancing and the visuals sort of made up for that fact.

It's not that the violent first act makes her desperate for attention. It's that it was far too violent and dark for a Madonna concert. As a lifelong fan, this tour was just depressing and dank, much like Drowned World. Clearly she was working through a lot of shit from the end of her relationship with Guy.

Granted it's still a well-executed and still a well put-together tour but the renditions of certain songs were a huge disappointment (Open Your Heart/Like A Virgin).

I just hope she returns to the Madonna we know and love with the next tour.

This is going to be awesome! I was at the Cleveland show watching the screens a lot of the time and the camera work was great on them. If those are any indication of the visual direction then we're in for a real treat. Marked my calendar already for the EPIX premiere as I must see this A.S.A.P.

I really liked the darker opening part of her act personally and it's not as if the show stayed that way since it's theme is 'darkness to light'. This show might be one of her best.

I liked the Open Your Heart re-work but agree about the Like a Virgin rendition since it's 180 degrees on the light pop tune it was before. There's so much good about this show though that it's entirely forgivable. Madonna seems to put on shows that have something for everyone. It ends on a high note with newer fan favorites (I think anyway), Celebration & Give it to Me.

Anyone who says Madonna is wrinkled just has an axe to grind. I'd say that 9 times out of 10, she could still kick the ass of the person saying that regardless of age or gender.

Why do Madonna stans take any sort of negative comments about her so personally?

Anyone who says she isn't wrinkled clearly has not seen her hands.....

Her face looks puffy and weird in all of the promos I have seen for the tour and she is starting to look ridiculous.

Does this take anything away from the fact that she is an amazing live performer, no. But don't pretend she hasn't had her face massacre of late (her worst being the scout look where her head looked about 4 sizes bigger than her body because its so pumped up with fillers) and is starting to look like a demented chipmunk.

I think a hell of a lot more people would have more respect for her if she just aged gracefully and started dressing with a little dignity

Her hands have been like that for (at least) 10 years. Anyone who has the Re-invention tour book knows that. It has nothing to do with age. People can have "old hands" in their 30's (or, in her case, early 40's).

I'm not a blind Madonna fan. I'm more than willing to admit when she screws up or when she looks ridiculous. In fact, I really dislike the MDNA tour but I won't get into that here.

However, I won't say that her body is a wrinkled mess when it isn't. And that has nothing to do with the fillers. In this case, it's more about the rest of her body. Do people tell Cher to put on some clothes and "have a little dignity?" To be honest, her hardcore fans (gays and women) love it. It's usually straight men that have a problem with it.

The bottom line is that the more people who tell her to "put on some clothes," the more she's going to be tempted to take them off. If you don't like it, don't look. She's made a career out of that mantra.

I'm not a straight man and I think she looks like a ridiculous old prostitute

When she was younger fine, but its just getting embarrassing now. She has a great body, but she'd actually be better off putting on some weight which would stop her face looking so gaunt and help eliminate the need for constant fillers.

I haven't seen Cher (not that I know much about her) in such outfits for what 10 years at least and even when she did wear she didn't tend to spread her legs every 2 seconds and expose her hairy yogurt hole to anyone who wanted to take a gander. Sorry but I just think it takes away from all the great stuff she does and makes her look desperate.

She also needs to ditch that Oseary ******, her career had hit the shits from the day he appeared. Her last 2 albums have been horrendous and the tours haven't been much better. She should bring her brother back, she hasn't had a decent tour since he left.
