Default did tyler perry sell his soul?

i'm just wondering what kind of faustian deal he made to get all these crappy movies/tv shows made? it seems every other week there's some crappy "tyler perry productions" drivel being announced. i tried watching "house of payne" and almost gouged my eyes out. i often wondered the same thing about weezer. how did anyone listen to them and think "wow man that rocks". same goes for martin lawrence. imo he should be put on trial for lowering the already low iq of america with his horrible movies. i want to be famous, can i make the same deal they did? where's my contract?

did anyone see the show G vs. E (good vs. evil)?

haha well, all I can say is that his shit sells really well at my work and in general, sure most people think its crap and what not but in the end it all comes down to the money. He has a HUGE market for the African American audience here in the US (not sure about Europe etc), so until the movies flop, they will still be coming out.

I have to agree. Daddy's Little Girls was OK, but most everything else he is attached to is lame. But it seems every few years, each minority represented in Hollywood gets a new poster child, and he is the "flavor of the month."

Oh hell no. Don't you talk bad about Madea.

Tyler Perry's not so bad. There's a lot worse out there. And at least he's not Eddie Murphy in drag.

yeah eddie, martin, and tyler need to stop. tootsie and mrs. doubtfire are the only crossdressing movies with any merit. but still.....

and if each minority gets their time to shine i want to represent the pigment lacking population. we find the term albino offensive. i mean the last movie we had was a bit part in the divinchi code preceeded by powder. what crap is that?

As much as I don't like his movies the Madea character is pretty freaking funny.

I was extremely disappointed that "Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married" was not released by Lionsgate on Blu-ray disc.
