United Kingdom Iron Man 3 - Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray 3D

Apologies if a thread exists already, somebody merge it if that's the case, but Iron Man 3 is listed on Zavvi.com under DVD, Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray 3D. The titles are all "Sold Out", meaning in Zavvi terms that it has not been released for sale yet.

Blu-Ray: £17.99
http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/iron-man-3/10808803.html

Blu-Ray 3D: £22.99
http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/iron-ma.../10808804.html

Something I couldn't help but notice though, is that the 3D disc version lists only Blu-Ray 3D in the headline. Many may remember Oz: The Great and Powerful's 3D release in the US, which will release the 3D version with no extra discs at a price as high as any other combo packs. This caused much outcry amongst Disney consumers, and for good reason.
And this is certainly a cause for concern going by the cover art, although, 2 discs are listed in the Zavvi description, and I doubt that this is the final artwork (no BBFC logos) so maybe it's nothing to worry about. Something to keep an eye on though.

The Blu-Ray 2D version description specifies one disc. The Blu-Ray 3D description specifies 2 discs.

Hopefully just 2D and 3D on separate discs.

Flick between the 2D and 3D pages, using tabs if possible. Something I noticed is that the artwork is actually stretched down a tad to accommodate the 3D banner. So, it's very much likely the artwork is still TBC and this is just the placeholder. I'm sure most other placeholder art did this too.

Definitely just a placeholder - it's just the poster with the credits snipped off the bottom. Even when a release uses the poster art it re-jogs the design a little to naturally fit it into the space (for example, the title will usually be towards the top - it definitely won't be right at the bottom edge like that)

I was lucky they were still showing it yesterday at one of my locals. Not really sure why it took me this long to finally see it.

I really enjoyed it overall. It was a massive improvement over IM2 and got pretty close to the original. The Mandarin twist was totally unexpected and despite some people's reservations I thought it worked pretty well.

Not really sure why some people were complaining about the Extremis soldiers being far-fetched, near invincible and fire breathing. This is the same Marvel universe where Earth was attacked by an alien species from the far side of space. Roll on Thor 2.

Also, the steelbook will be mine.

Like a big baby, I wanted my IM3 ASAP and the Nordic release looked to be the one with the cleanest looking artwork, minus any banners or ratings shit. The Finnish release just happened to be the easiest one to obtain at the time, via Paypal, as I'd some balance lying around.

It's not a concern that ever enters my head, fortunately.
