I love Duvall westerns. I will pick this up, hopefully Open Range follows shortly after.

Just picked this up and watched over the past 2 nights (3 hours). Cinematography is absolutely stunning

and the story is well-conceived, fiction based on real events and people from 'The Old West'. PQ is demo-worthy and AQ is very good. If you like westerns, this is a must-have for a Blu-Ray collection.

Absolutely, positively agree 100%! This under-the-radar disc dazzles in its cinematography and the complete naturalness of its colors. The story is compelling as well.

I like this one better than 3:10 To Yuma which in a few instances was touted as the best western since Unforgiven.

If you want another western to try I'd say go with Appaloosa at least as a rental though I do like the other two movies better.

Just got a quick question that I hope someone can help me with:

I'm wondering if the chinese parts of this movie are supposed to be subtitled? Originally I thought we weren't suppose to understand the chinese parts, but some of them are quite long with made me think otherwise.

Absolutely beautiful, gorgeous, everything was great - except the ending.

I forgot how much that sucked! Of course, YMMV.
