I only just started, and i'm happy with it. However, i'm really anal when it comes to collecting...and i'm certain, that within a few months from now, i will own every holy grail to date....because i'm a moron, lol.

I would say yes, it has. Which for me is a bit of a good thing. Initially last year I wanted every steelbook ever made but now I realize that there's really no point to doing that. Now I only buy steels that I really like the artwork for, or the movie is one of my favorites. I've also stopped double dipping on films when I buy steels. If I buy a steel and I already have it on Blu, I sell the amaray version to cut down and cost and (mainly) to save space. That's been the most enticing aspect for me recently, just making my collection the best it can be. Slimming down by selling off all the cheap BS I bought, and buying steelbooks for most if not all of my favorite films.

i just recently started buying steelbooks. i don't go out of my way to find movies. i don't pay more than $12-15 for a steelbook of a movie i already own, and i only buy steels of movies i really like. i also don't import any, though for a movie i really like, i might make an exception.

A wee bit. I would much prefer some more original artwork.

I prefer steel over any other case. That being said the fragility of them has kind of gotten to me. Every shipment is a crapshoot and when dealing with overseas returns/exchanges it's just not worth it for me. Need more B & M exclusives here in U.S.

Still enjoy collecting but after the last few months i've started to peel it back a little. I'm still buying all/most of the new releases as long as I like them but i'm starting to cool off on the older re releases and double dipping.

I passed on ET but just picked it up for a tenner so i'm happy enough to do that when I have a bit of spare cash flying around but i'm done buying whole waves just to get the set.
